McLarty Automotive opens $3 million Lincoln showroom in North Little Rock

McLarty Automotive Group marked a major expansion in central Arkansas on Wednesday with the opening of a $3 million Lincoln showroom at 4400 Landers Road in North Little Rock. The new facility includes a standalone sales floor designed with Lincoln’s Vitrine retail concept, featuring an open‑layout showroom, as well as an eight‑bay service shop to support vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Ribbon‑cutting ceremony draws community support

The North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce led the ribbon‑cutting ceremony, which attracted more than 100 attendees, according to the company. Local business leaders, chamber members, and McLarty staff gathered to celebrate the addition, underscoring the project’s role in the city’s economic fabric.

Lincoln’s premium offerings now available locally

The showroom showcases Lincoln’s full line‑up, including the brand’s Black Label models, which represent the highest trim level and feature premium materials and technology. By bringing these vehicles directly to North Little Rock, McLarty aims to give regional customers convenient access to luxury options without traveling to larger metropolitan areas.

McLarty’s broader investment strategy

Founder and owner Mark McLarty said the Lincoln project is part of a broader investment strategy for central Arkansas. In addition to the new Lincoln location, the group operates a Volkswagen dealership in the area and has announced plans for a Mazda facility. “We’re proud to be part of the economic fabric of this region, and we intend to keep growing here,” McLarty said.

While the company did not disclose the exact number of jobs created by the Lincoln showroom, the addition of a dedicated service shop suggests new employment opportunities for technicians and support staff. The project also signals confidence in the local market’s demand for both luxury and mainstream automotive brands.

Impact on the local economy

Industry observers note that new automotive facilities can have a multiplier effect, generating ancillary business for parts suppliers, local contractors, and service providers. The presence of a high‑end brand like Lincoln may also attract related businesses and boost consumer spending in the surrounding area.

McLarty Automotive Group operates dealerships across the Midwest and the South, and the North Little Rock expansion reflects the company’s strategy of diversifying its brand portfolio while maintaining a strong regional focus.

Looking ahead

With the Lincoln showroom now open, McLarty plans to continue monitoring market response and may consider further expansions or enhancements based on customer demand. The company’s commitment to central Arkansas aligns with broader trends of businesses investing in the state’s growing population and economic development initiatives.
