Bob Devaney Sports Center to Host LOV Volleyball Match Featuring Four Former Huskers in March 2027

Lincoln, Neb. – The Bob Devaney Sports Center is set to host a marquee League One Volleyball (LOVB) match in March 2027, featuring four former Nebraska Huskers returning to the court where they first rose to prominence.

Former Huskers headline the event

The lineup includes Olympic‑medalist Jordan Larson, rising star Lexi Rodriguez, veteran setter Lindsay Krause‑Wildeman and former Huskers coach Rebekah Allick. All four athletes have built professional careers overseas and in U.S. leagues, and they will reunite with local fans for a high‑level competition that highlights the growth of women’s volleyball.

Coach Dani Busboom Kelly welcomes the alumni

“These athletes mean so much to our program and to Husker Nation,” said Nebraska head coach and LOVB Nebraska ambassador Dani Busboom Kelly. “I’ve been fortunate to share the court with Jordan and coach Rebekah, and I’m so excited to welcome back this group and LOVB Nebraska to Lincoln. Our supporters have followed their professional careers, and I know they’ll pack the building to welcome them back, see them compete on the professional stage and show them once again that there truly is no place like Nebraska.”

Ticket information

Presale tickets become available the morning of November 18, with general‑public sales opening later that same day. Organizers expect strong demand, noting the popularity of the former Huskers and the growing interest in professional volleyball across the Midwest.

Why the event matters for Lincoln

Beyond the excitement of elite competition, the match underscores Lincoln’s role as a hub for collegiate athletics and community events. The Bob Devaney Sports Center, a landmark venue for Nebraska sports, will once again serve as a gathering place for families, alumni, and volleyball enthusiasts. The event aligns with the city’s tradition of supporting youth sports, family‑friendly entertainment, and local pride.

Looking ahead

While the March 2027 date is still being finalized, the announcement signals a busy summer of planning for the venue and local businesses that will benefit from increased visitor traffic. Fans are encouraged to follow the official LOVB channels for updates on the exact match date, opponent line‑up, and any related community activities.
