Resilience strategist Jena Taylor will host “Protect Performance Before Capacity Breaks” on September 16 at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET
Phoenix, AZ, September 11 – As organizations continue to face low engagement, rising manager strain, and employee exhaustion, Resilience Brilliance™ founder Jena Taylor is hosting a free live HR Lunch & Learn designed to help leaders identify burnout risk before it damages performance and retention.
The session, “Protect Performance Before Capacity Breaks: How Leaders Can Spot Burnout Risk Before It Becomes Turnover, Disengagement, or Execution Drag,” will take place on September 16 at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET.
The free virtual event is designed for HR Directors, Chief People Officers, People & Culture leaders, Learning & Development professionals, Employee Experience leaders, wellness program managers, operations leaders, and executives responsible for team performance and retention.
“Burnout is not a motivation problem. It is a capacity problem,” said Jena Taylor, Resilience Strategist, Speaker, Author, and host of Resilience Brilliance™ Podcast and Programs. “Many organizations are asking exhausted people to do more, when the real issue is that people are operating beyond their sustainable capacity. You cannot outperform exhaustion™.”
During the Lunch & Learn, Taylor will address why many traditional burnout solutions fall short, including wellness initiatives, employee perks, and resilience programs that unintentionally add more responsibility to already overwhelmed employees and managers.
Participants will learn:
- Why burnout is not a motivation problem
- The hidden connection between capacity, engagement, and performance
- Why traditional burnout initiatives often fail
- How to recognize burnout before it becomes a retention issue
- Practical tools leaders can implement immediately
- How resilience becomes a performance advantage, not another wellness program
Burnout has become more than an employee wellness issue. It directly affects business performance through reduced engagement, increased turnover, higher absenteeism, lower productivity, poorer decision-making, greater resistance to change, and increased manager strain.
Taylor’s approach focuses on capacity as the foundation for sustainable performance.
“When people have the capacity to perform, engagement improves. Performance improves. Retention improves,” Taylor said. “Resilience should not be another item on the wellness checklist. It should become a competitive advantage.”
Taylor built Resilience Brilliance™ programs from both professional experience and lived experience, including overcoming personal trauma, navigating tragedy, and thriving throughout a 30-plus-year career in sales, marketing, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Today, she works with organizations, leaders, and individuals to reduce overwhelm, strengthen engagement, and build the resilience required to navigate change and perform in demanding workplace environments.
The event is free, but registration is required.
