Fort Worth Shooting Leaves One Critically Injured After Vehicle Altercation

In a troubling incident that unfolded late Saturday night, a man was left in critical condition following a shooting that stemmed from an altercation between two vehicles in Fort Worth, Texas. The Fort Worth Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 11:40 p.m. on the 3000 block of Mansfield Highway.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim inside a car, suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency services, including Fort Worth Fire, promptly transported the injured man to a local hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition and is not expected to survive.

According to the police, the altercation between the two vehicles began at the intersection of Mansfield Highway and Seminary Drive. As the vehicles traveled westbound on Seminary Drive, the suspect reportedly fired shots at the victim’s vehicle, striking the front right passenger.

The victim’s vehicle managed to pull over to a nearby business, while the suspect fled the scene. Forest Hill Officers were already present when Fort Worth Police arrived, assisting in the initial response to the incident.
