ABQ Food Truck Park Relocates for Greater Visibility and Community Engagement

The ABQ Food Truck Park, a beloved local gathering spot, has relocated to a new site near Eubank Boulevard and Menaul Boulevard in Albuquerque. This move promises greater visibility and accessibility for vendors and visitors alike. The new location, closer to the mountains, offers a higher elevation and a more open space, which is already attracting increased foot traffic.

Enhanced Opportunities for Vendors

Owners Alex Chavez and Xavier Quintero are optimistic about the park’s new home. Chavez noted that the area has long been overlooked, but now presents the perfect opportunity for the food truck community. ‘It’s the perfect space,’ Chavez remarked, highlighting the increased visibility and ample parking available at the new site.

Quintero added, ‘Plenty of parking, too,’ emphasizing the convenience for visitors. The park’s new location is expected to draw more customers, benefiting the vendors who operate there from Tuesdays through Sundays.

Community Events and Future Plans

Looking ahead, Chavez and Quintero plan to host special events on weekends, including live music, to further engage the community and enhance the park’s appeal as a local attraction. These events aim to create a vibrant atmosphere that encourages families and individuals to visit and enjoy the diverse culinary offerings available.

The relocation of the ABQ Food Truck Park not only supports local businesses but also strengthens community ties by providing a space for social gatherings and cultural events. As the park continues to grow, it stands as a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit and community-focused values that define Albuquerque.
