Jennifer and Michael Cline, a couple from North Carolina, have shared their heartfelt journey through in vitro fertilization (IVF) and the profound impact of the Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund on their lives. The Clines, like many couples, faced challenges in conceiving naturally and turned to IVF as their only option. However, the high costs associated with the procedure seemed insurmountable.
“IVF was pretty much our only option. We didn’t think it would be possible because of how expensive it is. Pretty much, an egg retrieval alone is about $15,000 to $20,000,” Jennifer Cline explained. Their hopes were reignited when they received a $15,000 grant from the Bundle of Joy Fund, a program initiated by the Busch family in 2015 following their own struggles with infertility.
The Clines received the joyous news directly from Samantha Busch during a race, a moment filled with gratitude and emotion. “We couldn’t believe it. Happy tears were flowing, and we just could not be more thankful. We probably told Samantha multiple times, ‘Thank you,'” Jennifer shared.
The Legacy of Kyle Busch
The Bundle of Joy Fund has awarded over $2 million in grants to families facing similar challenges, illustrating the Busch family’s commitment to community involvement. As the Clines prepare for their third transfer, they reflect on the life and legacy of Kyle Busch, who recently passed away. “From our point of view, it feels like somebody that’s actually a part of your family, just how involved they’ve been,” Jennifer said. “It doesn’t feel real.”
Michael Cline emphasized the importance of community support during this time, suggesting that thoughts and prayers are a meaningful way to give back. Despite the tragic loss of Kyle Busch, his impact through the Bundle of Joy Fund continues to provide hope and assistance to families like the Clines.
Jennifer Cline encourages others facing similar struggles to persevere. “Don’t give up the hope. Just continue going. There’s a purpose for all of us going through this,” she advised.
