Tiger Woods Returns to Switzerland for Continued Rehabilitation

Tiger Woods, the legendary golfer with 15 major championships to his name, has reportedly returned to Switzerland to continue his rehabilitation process. This follows a brief trip back to Florida, where he was spotted earlier this month. According to Celebplanes, Woods’ Gulfstream V departed from Witham Field in Stuart, Florida, on a Saturday evening and landed in Switzerland by Sunday.

Personal Reasons for Florida Visit

The reasons behind Woods’ quick return to Florida remain unclear, but the timing coincides with a personal development involving his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump. Vanessa, who is the former daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, recently announced her diagnosis with breast cancer. She shared a heartfelt message on social media, describing Woods as her “strength” during this challenging time. A photo of the couple was posted on Instagram Stories with the caption, “My strength through it all! Family and the closest people to me.” Woods and Vanessa Trump have been publicly linked since March 2025.

Recent Challenges and Rehabilitation

Woods’ return to Switzerland suggests that his rehabilitation is ongoing. This follows a two-car accident on Jupiter Island, Florida, on March 27, which resulted in charges of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. Although Woods cleared 0.00 results on both breathalyzer samples, his refusal to submit to a urine test led to the refusal charge. Following the incident, Woods announced he would step away from golf to “seek treatment and focus on my health.” He was granted permission to leave the country on April 1 to enter comprehensive inpatient treatment.

Woods has not competed in a professional golf event since the 2024 Open Championship, with his last made cut occurring at the Masters that same year. His journey through rehabilitation and personal challenges continues to be closely followed by fans and the sports community alike.
